JON ROTH

Jon Roth hails from Ontario and is the founder of Crows Nest Barbershops, now with five locations across Canada. Each shop has its own individual personality and story, intentionally shaped by the neighbourhood and staff, creating spaces that are more than just barbershops and truly part of the community.

Crows Nest Barbershop was born in a basement in Kensington Market, where Jon built a place to practise his craft, and grew by allowing staff to shape each shop with substance, passion, and authenticity. Before barbering, Jon was a professional snowboarder working behind the scenes for snow and skate brands—until barbering drew him in, and the rest is history.

Born and raised in Dartmouth, Stu returned to Halifax about a decade ago and discovered his passion for barbering through an apprenticeship in 2014. In May 2018, he opened Blue Collar Barbershop, which has grown from just him and an apprentice to a team of four barbers and a new apprentice. His commitment to craft and community is at the heart of every haircut, making each visit personal and exceptional.
